Ongoing Temporary Position

Erith | £13.03 per hour | Monday to Friday | Rotating Shifts (6:00 AM-2:00 PM / 2:00 PM-10:00 PM)

Right Match Recruitment Group Limited is recruiting an experienced Counterbalance Forklift Driver for our client, a well-established food production company based in Erith. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing business offering consistent weekday work, a supportive team environment, and the opportunity to progress to Flexi Forklift Truck training.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate a Counterbalance Forklift Truck within a food production environment.

• Load and unload vehicles.

• Move stock, raw materials, and finished goods around the site.

• Assist with general warehouse and production duties when required.

• Carry out daily forklift safety checks and report any defects.

• Follow all health, safety, food hygiene, and company procedures.

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year’s experience operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck.

• A valid Counterbalance Forklift Truck licence.

• Previous warehouse or production experience (food production experience is desirable but not essential).

• Flexibility to work rotating weekly shifts.

• Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.

• Reliable, punctual, and committed to long-term work.

Shift Pattern

Weekly rotating shifts (Monday to Friday):

• 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM

• 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM

Applicants must be able to alternate between both shifts on a weekly basis.

What We Offer

• £13.03 per hour, OT £ £ 19.55
